Highly acquisitive and dynamic global organisation headquartered in Bristol has a newly created role for a Financial Reporting Accountant. Surrounded by like minded highly motivated Qualified Accountants, you will provide technical advice and guidance, liaise with the Group’s auditors, undertake accounting for the Group’s intercompany arrangements and foreign self-insurance vehicle. The candidate will also be responsible for timely filing of the corporation tax returns for all UK companies and assistance with ad hoc financial reporting matters.
Role
Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting, you’ll provide financial support and services including timely, accurate reporting of actuals, budget, forecast and financial performance, together with action orientated insights. Helping to ensure reporting reflects company reorganisations, you’ll provide updates and co-ordinate month-end timetable and delivery, taking responsibility for the production of the group’s monthly management board and shareholder reporting packs.
About You
ACA or ACCA qualified, you may be looking for your first move into industry from practice. Able to work well under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines, and ideally with a strong grounding in financial reporting and in particular exposure to IFRS. You have a strong commercial track record along with first-class Excel modelling, PowerPoint and communication skills.
