FP&A Manager - Bristol

High growth retail disruptor has a newly created role for an FP&A Manager.  With ambitions to achieve double digit growth year on year, an exciting and far reaching role exists for this FP&A Manager to deliver high quality reporting and analysis to the business leaders on financial performance. This will include consolidating the results across the separate European business units and managing the analysis of key P&L drivers to support effective decision-making. You will partner with the business at all levels to help drive the business forward. 

 

Role

Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will be the key conduit between the financial planning team and commercial stakeholders, providing input and influence over ROI drivers.  Enjoying a highly visible role, you will be exposed to all commercial functions along with the SMT and Exec Board.  Specific responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and driving the annual budgeting and monthly re-forecasting cycles with an emphasis on ‘what if’ scenario modelling
  • Monthly consolidation, analysis and validation of European Financial results, including forecast updates
  • Overseeing detailed financial analysis and review to support the decision making processes of the business, including the production of business cases
  • Providing relevant and timely monthly analysis of business performance
  • Developing and monitoring business KPIs
  • Identifying and providing decision support to critical initiatives that maximise growth
  • Maintaining and improving the rolling 3 Year Plan, including identifying opportunities for growth and key areas of concern

 

About You

ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified, you will bring well evidenced business partnering experience, ideally gained in a global/international FMCG, Consumer Products or Retail sector business.  With the ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving, you will be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and able to flex your style and adapt to changing priorities.
