SME technology business based in Bristol has an exciting opening for a Head of Finance to work within a newly created senior leadership team, driving improvements in all aspects of finance performance including pricing, leverage and working capital. As part of a highly entrepreneurial environment, you will be a high performing Finance Manager/Financial Controller with a collegiate approach and at ease working in a matrix environment.
Role
Working alongside the Exec leadership team, the Head of Finance will be responsible for defining, tracking and managing company KPIs and executing strategic initiatives and projects. Leading and coaching a team of qualified Accountants, you will provide the Exec with insight and perspective whilst providing financial oversight to monitor ongoing performance and lead on annual and quarterly strategy planning processes. We would naturally expect you to contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes including planning and budgeting, ensuring compliance with appropriate financial standards and best practices as well as driving optimisation of P&L performance.
About You
ACA/ACCA.CIMA qualified with likely 5+ years PQE, you will be an inspirational and highly collaborative creative leader with experience of working within a matrix environment. You will have an excellent understanding of fundamentals and strategy across business functions and cultures and be comfortable working with a challenging yet supportive Board.
