Interim FP&A Accountant - Wiltshire

Company

International business based on the outskirts of Chippenham now seeks to appoint a high potential FP&A Accountant into its commercial finance team, initially on a 6 month fixed term contract.  Partnering across a diverse stakeholder team, you will have a direct impact on influencing commercial strategy, providing expert advice regarding investment opportunities and highlighting performance concerns.

Role

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, the Commercial Finance Manager will be at the front line of decision making and build extensive networks and understanding within the business. This allows for a wide progression scope either within Finance or other commercially focused teams.  Specific responsibilities include:

• Leading collaborative financial and analytical leadership to assigned teams and deliver the annual net revenue, profit, and share plans
• Partnering with teams to build their annual net revenue plans, and where appropriate assess joint Business Plans with key customers, including post deal evaluation, customer & category performance, and lessons for future activity
• Highlight future performance concerns and opportunities and takes a lead in evaluating investments
• Oversee period close process and provide understanding and insight into performance

About You

As a graduate qualified Accountant with c1-2 years PQE, you will be a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously driving your own agenda balanced with a capacity to recognise when support is required.  You will possess exceptional communication skills to provide clearly articulated and appropriate messages across a wide spectrum of stakeholders and have an ability to manage a very broad agenda, and single-mindedly ensure key objectives are delivered.
