Consumer-Focused Investment Platform | South West (Hybrid) | London 1–2 days/week

A high-performing, hands-on investment platform with a strong track record of backing ambitious, scaling consumer brands is looking to appoint a Portfolio Associate Director into its value creation team.

This is a rare opportunity to move from pure advisory into an investor-led environment, working directly with founders, CEOs and CFOs to drive performance, support strategic initiatives and help shape the next phase of growth across a high-quality portfolio.

The Role

You will operate at the centre of the portfolio, combining strategic thinking with execution:

• Lead financial modelling, scenario analysis and commercial evaluation
• Support deal execution, refinancings and exit preparation
• Work alongside management teams on value creation plans and performance improvement initiatives
• Assess and optimise capital structures and funding strategies
• Bring transaction discipline and data-led insight into portfolio decision-making

This is a hands-on, high-visibility role within a highly engaged investment team.

Background

We’re keen to speak with individuals currently operating at Associate Director level (or equivalent) within:

• M&A
• Corporate Finance Advisory
• Transaction Services / Deal Advisory

You will bring:

• Strong experience of deal structures and end-to-end transaction execution
• Advanced financial modelling and commercial acumen
• The credibility to operate with senior stakeholders and investors
• A genuine interest in moving into a value creation / portfolio-facing role
