High profile Senior Finance Interim opportunity now available for a fast-paced, multi-faceted international based in Bristol.  Working as part of the group finance team you will be responsible for driving a multitude of international financial reporting projects, ensuring strong financial governance across the Group and ensuring that the department drives best in class financial management and control process.. As a subject matter expert in technical accounting and reporting, you will have demonstrable UK GAAP and IFRS experience, ideally gained within a large international matrix environment.

Headquartered in Bristol, we are able to offer a hybrid 2:3 working model.  Starting immediately, this role currently will run through to end of December 2022 and will fall outside of IR35.

 

Role

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will lead a multitude of group wide projects with significant interaction across all financial reporting, management accounting and transactional teams.  Specific responsibilities include:

  • Review of half year and full year financial accounts providing complete confidence to investors that the reported financial position is fully accurate
  • Driving group in balance sheet and cash flow management through the provision of appropriate reporting and behavioural standards
  • Identifying opportunities for profit and balance sheet enhancement
  • Re-engineering key reporting practices ensuring they are fit for future purpose
  • Driving significant improvements in the financial controls across the business
  • Managing all external stakeholder relationships with internal and external auditors, investors and bank

 

About You

As a highly experienced and charismatic ACA qualified with experience of working for a large matrix organisation, you will be a strong technical accountant, with a proven ability to oversee the production of accurate monthly, half year and full year management and financial accounts.  You will have well-developed communication skills with a track record of successful team leadership of 10+ FTE and change management at a senior level across a multi-site setting.
