Coyne & Associates is currently supporting Danone with a key appointment into its UKI Enterprise Strategy and Digital Transformation team.  We are looking to attract an ambitious and charismatic Senior PRGM Manager (Promotional Effectiveness), initially on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity.

You will be a key member of Enterprise Strategy and Digital Transformation team that sets the company direction for UKI. This role will have full promotional management responsibility across all Danone brands, providing insight through data analytics on how to maximise both efficiency and allocation of promotions as well as topline growth.

Promotional Effectiveness and Allocation

  • Working in partnership with the commercial team to create value for Danone, customers and shoppers through optimizing the allocation and effectiveness of its promotions
  • Step change return on investment of its promotional spend to create value for Danone and the trade, maximising the efficiency of its 150M€ promotional spend
  • Building and maintaining a clear dashboard reflecting its key promotional targets, owning the topic internally
  • Managing the promotional effectiveness tool and being the guarantor of the integrity of its promotional topics
  • Empowering the customer teams to utilise optimisation tools to achieve and exceed their budgets through ensuring they run the optimal promo plan


Strategy planning

  • Using macro and market trends to map out future opportunities for its promotional strategy ensuring every investment delivers for the business, and delivers against key brand KPIs and metrics
  • Leading the creation and management of the promotional strategy & guidelines across all Danone brands, ensuring they are driving profitable growth for Danone and its retailers
  • Providing guidelines for investment choices by channel/ brand to empower the customer/ marketing teams to maximise ROI on all promotions


About You

With broad multi-channel experience preferably in established FMCG and/or Retail, you will be fully at home translating complex, data-intense analytics into actionable recommendations and have experience of working effectively in a cross-functional team environment. You may have experience of commercial finance or consumer & customer marketing and undoubtedly bring in-depth understanding of various analytics tools (tableau, PowerBI, excel macros.
