Coyne & Associates are partnering with a private equity–backed international group to appoint a Corporate Tax professional into a highly visible role within the central finance function.
This is an excellent first move into industry for a CTA / ACA qualified tax professional currently working in practice who is looking to broaden their exposure across a dynamic, acquisitive business operating internationally.
Working closely with senior finance leadership, you will gain exposure to group tax strategy, international structuring, governance and M&A activity, making this a superb platform role for someone looking to accelerate their career outside of practice.
The Role
This role sits within the Group Finance function, providing tax support across a complex and growing international group.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Group Financial Controller and wider finance leadership on tax matters across the group
- Managing UK and international corporate tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions
- Coordinating with external advisors to ensure timely and accurate tax filings
- Supporting transfer pricing policies and ensuring appropriate documentation and governance
- Assisting with group tax provisioning for statutory reporting
- Supporting tax input on M&A activity, restructuring and new market entry
- Monitoring changes in tax legislation and assessing implications for the group
- Developing and embedding tax governance and controls across the organisation
The Candidate
This opportunity would suit someone looking to make their first move from practice into a commercially focused in-house role.
You will likely have:
- ACA and/or CTA qualification
- Experience within a Top 10 / Big 4 firm or leading tax advisory practice
- Exposure to corporate tax and international tax matters
- Strong technical grounding with the ability to communicate tax concepts to non-tax stakeholders
