The Role
You’ll take ownership of indirect tax across multiple jurisdictions, working closely with senior finance leadership and global advisers to drive compliance, optimisation and process improvement across a complex omni-channel business.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading multi-jurisdictional VAT / GST / sales tax compliance and governance
- Managing indirect tax audits and relationships with tax authorities globally
- Providing technical input on cross-border transactions, supply chain flows and new market entry
- Ensuring accurate tax determination across ERP, POS and e-commerce platforms
- Driving improvements in controls, processes and tax engine configuration
- Monitoring global legislative change and assessing commercial impact
- Supporting transformation and systems projects to embed tax into business operations

About You
- Newly or recently qualified (ACA / ACCA / CTA or equivalent)
- Strong indirect tax technical grounding
- Experience working in a multi-jurisdictional environment
- Ambitious and ready to step into a future leadership role
- Interested in how tax interacts with data, systems and business operations
- Retail / consumer experience helpful but not essential
