Ref: 865 Date Posted: Monday 11 May 2026

South West HQ | Predominantly Remote | Outside IR35 | 12-Month Assignment

We’re supporting a large, fast-paced and evolving business undergoing significant finance process improvement activity across CAPEX, fixed assets and project governance.

As part of that journey, we’re looking to appoint an experienced Interim CAPEX Project Manager to lead the design, implementation and embedding of robust CAPEX and fixed asset processes across the organisation.

This is a high-impact assignment suited to a qualified accountant who combines strong technical grounding with the ability to build practical, scalable processes within a complex operational environment.

Key areas of focus will include:

  • Designing and embedding CAPEX governance, controls and approval processes
  • Establishing clear accounting policies across capitalisation, depreciation and disposals
  • Improving reporting, tracking and visibility across project spend
  • Reviewing and strengthening fixed asset processes and controls
  • Partnering with finance, operational and technology stakeholders to drive adoption and consistency
  • Supporting wider systems/process optimisation activity, ideally within a NetSuite environment

The successful candidate will likely demonstrate:

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualification
  • Strong experience across CAPEX, fixed assets and finance process improvement
  • Proven ability to establish structure, governance and scalable controls from the ground up
  • Experience operating within complex, changing or high-growth environments
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and project delivery capability
  • Prior NetSuite exposure would be highly advantageous

The role can be largely remote, although there will be an expectation to travel to the South West HQ a few times per month to support stakeholder engagement and implementation activity.

Outside IR35 day-rate assignment with an expected initial term of circa 12 months.
