We are currently supporting a well-established organisation in the search for an experienced Interim Commercial Finance Manager to join its commercial finance function on an initial 6–9 month assignment.
Working closely with senior stakeholders across Sales and Marketing, this role will provide commercial finance support, financial insight and challenge to help drive business performance, improve profitability and support strategic decision-making.
The successful candidate will be a commercially minded, qualified finance professional with a proven track record of partnering with Sales and Marketing teams in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment.
Act as a trusted finance business partner to senior stakeholders across Sales and Marketing, providing financial insight, support and constructive challenge.
Support commercial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.
Analyse revenue, profitability, cost of sales and commercial performance, identifying opportunities to improve financial outcomes.
Provide financial support for commercial initiatives, investment decisions and new business opportunities.
Develop and improve financial reporting, processes and controls to enhance visibility of commercial performance.
Work collaboratively with operational and commercial teams to support the delivery of financial and strategic objectives.
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
Demonstrable experience in a commercial finance or finance business partnering role, with direct exposure to Sales and Marketing teams.
Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to translate financial information into meaningful business insight.
Experience of financial planning, forecasting, profitability analysis and commercial performance management.
Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with and challenging senior stakeholders.
Hands-on, proactive and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
Previous interim experience would be advantageous.
