International Tax Manager - Bristol

A global, services-led business headquartered in Bristol is looking to appoint an International Tax Manager into a high-visibility role supporting a complex, multi-jurisdictional footprint.

The role
Sitting within a well-regarded Group Finance function, you’ll take ownership of international tax matters across a diverse portfolio of territories. This is not a pure compliance role — you’ll be involved in shaping tax strategy, supporting commercial decision-making, and partnering with senior stakeholders across the business.

Key areas of focus:

• Overseeing international tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions
• Supporting cross-border structuring, transfer pricing, and ongoing optimisation
• Partnering with finance and commercial teams on new markets, contracts, and business initiatives
• Managing external advisors and ensuring a consistent, high-quality global tax approach
• Contributing to process improvement and building scalable tax frameworks as the business grows

What they’re looking for:

• ACA / CTA (or equivalent) trained within a Big 4 / Top 10 international tax environment
• Strong grounding in corporate and international tax principles
• Commercially aware, with the ability to translate technical tax into practical business impact
• Credible communicator, comfortable operating with senior stakeholders
• Motivated by moving into a broader, more visible in-house role
