We're looking for an experienced Master Data Management (MDM) Lead to play a pivotal role in establishing a brand-new Master Data capability within a complex, international organisation.

This is a genuine greenfield opportunity. You'll have the autonomy to shape the Master Data strategy, governance framework and operating model from the ground up, creating the foundations for high-quality, trusted data across the business.

Working across multiple functions, you'll bring together business and technology stakeholders to define how master data is owned, governed and maintained, enabling better decision-making, improved operational efficiency and future digital initiatives.

The Role

  • Lead the design and implementation of the organisation's Master Data Management framework.
  • Establish data governance, ownership and stewardship across key data domains.
  • Develop master data policies, standards and processes.
  • Drive improvements in data quality, consistency and integrity.
  • Partner with business and technology teams to ensure master data supports strategic programmes and business objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to embed governance and new ways of working.
  • Develop KPIs and reporting to monitor data quality and governance performance.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.

About You

You'll be an experienced Master Data professional who enjoys creating structure, influencing stakeholders and building capability from the ground up.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Proven experience leading Master Data Management or Data Governance initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality and stewardship.
  • Experience working within enterprise ERP environments (SAP, Oracle, D365 or similar).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • A strategic mindset, balanced with the ability to deliver operationally.
  • Experience designing processes, governance models and operating frameworks.
  • The ability to work comfortably in an evolving environment where you'll help define the future state.

Why Join?

This is a rare opportunity to build something new rather than inherit an established function. You'll play a key role in creating a best-in-class Master Data capability that will become central to the organisation's future operating model.

If you're looking for a role where you can genuinely shape strategy, influence senior stakeholders and leave a lasting legacy, we'd love to hear from you.
