Strategy Director – Scale-up – Bristol

Help shape the decisions that drive a growing business.

We’re interested in speaking with commercially minded finance leaders who have worked in scale-up environments and played a direct role in shaping business strategy.

This opportunity would suit someone who combines financial expertise with investment judgement and the ability to turn strategic decisions into practical action. Your experience will extend beyond reporting, with meaningful involvement in areas such as:

• Capital allocation and evaluating investment opportunities.

• M&A, from assessing opportunities through to execution.

• Financing, capital structure and share buybacks.

• International expansion and establishing overseas offices.

• Tax efficiency, cost optimisation and scalable business structures.

You’ll be comfortable working closely with founders and senior leaders, challenging assumptions and helping determine where capital and resources can create the greatest value.

A background in banking or private equity would be particularly attractive, ideally followed by a broad finance, strategy or operational role within a growing business. Above all, we’re looking for evidence of the decisions you’ve influenced, the actions you’ve led and the outcomes you’ve delivered.
