A high-growth private equity-backed international group is looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Manager to join its Bristol-based finance team.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role will take ownership of the group’s corporate tax compliance and governance while working closely with external advisors across multiple jurisdictions.

The Role
Working as part of the central finance team, you will take responsibility for managing the group’s corporate tax matters while partnering with advisors and internal stakeholders across the organisation.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the Group’s corporate tax compliance obligations across multiple jurisdictions, coordinating with external advisors to ensure accurate and timely filings.
- Acting as the key internal contact for tax matters, working closely with finance teams across the group.
- Supporting the development and implementation of Group tax policies, including transfer pricing frameworks.
- Ensuring the business maintains appropriate tax governance and control processes.
- Managing relationships with external tax advisors, agreeing filing timetables and providing required information.
- Supporting HMRC enquiries, risk reviews and international tax audits where required.
- Assisting with the preparation of tax provisions for Group reporting under IFRS and UK statutory accounts (FRS102).
- Helping ensure tax developments and regulatory updates are understood and implemented across the organisation.
- Supporting finance leadership on ad-hoc tax projects as the business continues to expand internationally.
About You
This role would suit a tax professional currently working in practice who is looking to make their first move into a commercially focused industry environment.
You will likely bring:
- A professional qualification (ACA, ACCA and/or CTA).
- Experience gained within a Big 4 or leading mid-tier firm, working within a corporate tax environment.
- Strong technical understanding of UK corporation tax and tax accounting.
- Exposure to international or multi-entity groups would be beneficial.
- A proactive and organised approach with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to communicate confidently with non-tax stakeholders across the business.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a high-performing finance team.
