Role

The Advisory & Restructuring team is a high-growth, entrepreneurial group within the wider advisory practice. Working with boards, lenders and investors, they support businesses facing challenge or transition — from underperformance and liquidity pressure through to strategic transformation and value creation.

As a Director, you’ll take a hands-on leadership role in shaping and delivering engagements across:

  • Business turnaround and restructuring
  • Cash and working capital improvement
  • Stakeholder management and contingency planning
  • Finance transformation and operational improvement
  • Value-creation planning for private equity-backed and owner-managed businesses

You’ll work alongside senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams (Tax, Corporate Finance, Transaction Services) to deliver pragmatic, outcome-driven solutions.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the delivery of complex restructuring and advisory assignments
  • Build trusted relationships with corporate boards, investors and lenders
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities — leveraging your market network and sector relationships
  • Oversee project economics, resource planning and client satisfaction
  • Coach and develop junior team members, promoting a collaborative, high-performance culture

 

About You

  • Proven track record in restructuring, turnaround, or special situations advisory, ideally gained within a Big 4, mid-tier, or boutique consulting environment
  • Deep financial and commercial acumen, with strong stakeholder management capability
  • Experienced in presenting to and advising boards, investors, and lenders
  • Skilled at articulating complex financial and operational issues with clarity and confidence
  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA / MBA (or equivalent) qualified preferred
  • Entrepreneurial, solutions-focused, and motivated by helping businesses navigate change
