A leading global organisation with a significant European footprint is looking to appoint a European Tax Manager to strengthen its in-house tax capability. Operating across multiple jurisdictions and complex international structures, this is a high-visibility role offering breadth, autonomy and genuine progression.

 

The Opportunity

Working as a key member of the Group Tax function, you will lead on European direct tax matters, ensuring compliance, managing risk and supporting strategic tax planning across several jurisdictions. You’ll partner closely with senior finance, external advisors, and regional stakeholders to deliver a robust, efficient and forward-looking tax framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage corporate tax compliance and reporting across multiple European jurisdictions

  • Lead tax forecasting, provisioning and year-end processes

  • Support tax planning, structuring and cross-border initiatives

  • Act as the in-house expert on international tax issues, BEPS, transfer pricing interactions and evolving legislation

  • Liaise with tax authorities and external advisors, ensuring risk is managed and opportunities are identified

  • Work closely with Group Finance on broader governance and controls

 

About You

  • CTA-qualified (essential)

  • Strong European or international corporate tax experience (in-house or practice)

  • Confident operating in a complex, multi-entity environment

  • Able to balance technical depth with commercial impact

  • Comfortable partnering with senior stakeholders and advising across jurisdictions

  • Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple priorities
