Now looking to appoint you as a dynamic and experienced Head of Data Analytics, you will responsible for leveraging the business to generate actionable insights that drive business successProviding leadership to the Board's Finance and Accounting strategy, you will optimise the company’s financial performance and strategic position to drive their next phase of growth.

 

This exciting opportunity calls for an outstanding candidate to support and drive performance through brilliant business partnership.  With a highly strategic and innovative approach you’ll be a key driver in the delivery of the strategic plan, providing highly relevant insight into business performance and owning the medium and long term financial planning and forecasting process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the commercial finance team, providing strategic direction and support. Lead the commercial performance strategy, including revenue optimisation, cost management, and profitability analysis. 
  • Develop and implement robust analytics frameworks to track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) across all aspects of the business. 
  • Utilise advanced data analytics techniques to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing actionable insights to drive business decisions.
  • Utilize PowerBI and SQL to analyze financial data and generate actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with senior management to influence decision-making and support strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior commercial finance role.
  • 5 years+ relevant experience in shaping and optimising operational processes, analytics, data visualisation and/or intelligence models.
  • Significant experience of PowerBI and SQL
  • 3 years + Management and Leadership experience
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proven experience of using effective stakeholder management to drive forward positive change
  • Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
