Head of Group FP&A - Bath

Dynamic multi-channel brand with global operations now seeks to appoint a Head of Group FP&A.  You will develop a deep understanding of the group’s strategy and ensure that the right data, presented as insightful information, is available at the right time both directly and via a team of FP&A Analysts.  This role builds strong relationships with business leaders, the CFO and Business Partners, collaborating with the broader finance community to deliver value to the business.

Role is commutable from Bristol, Bath, Swindon areas and will involve 3 days/week in the office.

Role

Reporting to a highly charismatic FP&A Director, you will provide insightful and timely analysis of recent/future performance and trends and drive optimal decision-making on growth opportunities or risk mitigation of strategic, operational or financial risks.  Coaching and leading a small FP&A team, you will set a clear strategic vision for FP&A, ensuring it is clearly communicated to all global stakeholders.  Responsible for leading an iterative and collaborative process to develop and maintain annual operating plan/budget, forecast, and variance analysis, you will also develop appropriate and timely management reporting capability regarding key drivers of business performance. 

 

About You

As a high performing Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), you will have extensive relevant business and FP&A experience.  Energetic, enthusiastic and hard-working in your approach, you will have the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environment with quickly evolving, often ambiguous or uncertain, business goals.  Strong experience of financial modelling is required, obtained from either an FP&A function within a large corporate or financial due diligence within Big 4.  Exposure to investor relations would be hugely beneficial.  This represents a compelling opportunity for a high performing FP&A Lead to really make their mark and own the pricing and modelling agenda.
