Boutique financial services organisation in Bristol, undergoing a transformation programme now seeks to appoint an Interim CFO to support the CEO and wider Exec. Initially offered on a 6 month contract, the CFO will drive the strategic direction and operational effectiveness of the Finance function, supporting the wider growth strategy
Role
Working alongside an ambitious CEO, you will be a key member of the leadership team and be accountable for delivering accurate and timely information relating to capital planning, balance sheet management, investment opportunities, restructuring, budgeting, reporting and controls.
Responsible for implementing and continually developing/improving a suite of robust, auditable processes and controls relevant to key business risks, you will optimise the balance sheet and ensure return on capital drives effective financial planning activities with the business.
About You
Suitably qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), you will have proven experience as a CFO / Finance Director in a financial services, regulated and scale-up environment. The role will be Bristol based and as such we would like you to be readily accessible to be office based 2-3 days per week. We are looking for a prompt appointment so would welcome applications from those on short notice periods.
