Interim Finance Integration Lead - Bristol

We are looking for an Interim Finance Integration Lead for a major brand in Bristol.  The client is completing an inbound acquisition and requires an experienced interim to own and drive the post-deal finance integration, ensuring the transaction is executed cleanly and to plan.  Likely to be 6-9 months work, outside IR35

This is a delivery-critical role with clear accountability for:

• Owning and running a detailed integration Gantt, with defined milestones, owners, dependencies, and critical path
• Holding stakeholders to account across finance, systems, tax, legal, and operations to ensure delivery against agreed timelines
• Actively chasing actions, resolving blockers, and escalating where milestones are at risk
• Driving the integration of financial reporting, controls, processes, and calendars into the Group framework
• Managing cut-over activity, opening balance sheet processes, and early post-deal reporting
• Bringing structure, pace, and discipline to what is often a noisy post-completion environment

The client is specifically looking for someone who:

• Has led inbound M&A integrations rather than advisory or DD-only roles
• Is comfortable running a Gantt-led integration plan and enforcing delivery against it
• Can operate with authority, challenge senior stakeholders, and hold people to commitments
• Is hands-on, pragmatic, and delivery-focused

This is very much a “get it done” integration role — less about strategy, more about execution, grip, and follow-through.
