Interim Tax Accountant
South West PLC | 6–9 months | Outside IR35
A South West–based listed business is seeking an experienced Interim Tax Accountant to provide hands-on support across a multi-jurisdictional tax environment during a busy reporting and compliance period.
This is a delivery role within an established finance function, suited to someone comfortable operating at pace, managing complexity, and working with multiple territories.
Key Focus

Corporate tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions

Preparation and review of tax provisions and disclosures for PLC reporting

Supporting statutory accounts and audit queries (UK & overseas)

Liaising with external advisers and local finance teams

Ensuring ongoing compliance with evolving tax regulations

Supporting process improvement and documentation where needed
About You

Proven interim or contract tax experience within PLC or large group environments

Strong exposure to multi-jurisdictional / international tax

Comfortable working autonomously and driving deliverables

ACA / CTA / equivalent background preferred

Able to operate in a pragmatic, hands-on manner
