As part of this evolution, Future is now hiring an Internal Controls Manager.  

 

The Opportunity

A genuinely influential position where you’ll shape, embed and elevate a scalable risk & control framework that supports Future’s next phase of growth. You'll work with senior leadership, Internal Audit and External Audit - simplifying complexity, driving consistency and ensuring governance is robust across a dynamic, expanding organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the assessment and enhancement of the Group risk & control environment to ensure it is robust, scalable and future-ready.
  • Maintain and evolve the Group Risk & Control Matrix, working closely with SLT/ELT stakeholders.
  • Identify control gaps, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities across financial and operational processes.
  • Bring a control-focused lens to the systems roadmap - ensuring new tech and automation strengthens the Group control environment.
  • Partner with Internal and External Audit to ensure alignment, knowledge-sharing and effective governance.
  • Own Group Incident Reporting, tracking remediation and reporting to the Operational Risk Committee.
  • Support finance transformation projects, shaping risks, controls and scalable process mapping.

 

About You

  • ACA, CIA (or equivalent) with strong technical and controls expertise.
  • Experience in listed, regulated or SOX-style environments.
  • Able to interpret complexity and turn it into clear, pragmatic solutions.
  • Confident influencing senior stakeholders across Finance, Ops and Tech.
  • Strong documentation, communication and presentation skills.
  • Detail-driven, resilient and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
