Investment Associate – Private Equity Fund (South West) Ideal for a newly or recently qualified ACA seeking a move into the investor side
A highly regarded Private Equity fund in the South West is looking to appoint an Investment Associate to join their expanding team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who wants to move from advisory into direct investing — working hands-on with management teams and supporting high-growth businesses across the region.
The Role:
Support the full investment cycle from origination and due diligence through to execution and portfolio management.
Conduct detailed financial analysis, modelling, and valuation work to assess new investment opportunities.
Prepare investment papers and present recommendations to the Investment Committee.
Work closely with portfolio company leadership teams to drive performance, strategy, and value creation.
Build relationships across the South West’s entrepreneurial and advisory ecosystem.
The Person:
ACA qualified (newly or recently qualified) with a background in Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, or Financial Due Diligence.
Strong analytical and commercial mindset, with solid Excel modelling and valuation skills.
Excellent communicator, able to engage confidently with senior stakeholders.
Motivated by working in a dynamic, close-knit investment team with exposure to deals and portfolio support from day one.
South West base preferred, with flexibility to travel regionally.
