Senior Corporate Reporting Manager - Bristol

International technology business in Bristol has a newly created opening for a Senior Corporate Reporting Manager to join in group finance team.  With an ever increasingly important role to play, the Senior Corporate Reporting Manager will help shape and tell the story across the entire corporate reporting suite.  The role requires a strong understanding of accounting standards (IFRS), proven experience in managing teams, change management and working alongside external stakeholders, including auditors and external advisors.

Role

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will build strong relationships by developing and managing the annual reporting calendar, engaging stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and secure timely input while maintaining alignment.  Additional areas will include:

• M&A Due Diligence reporting
• Timely and accurate month end reporting to GL level, providing effective oversight, ensuring effective monitoring and compliance with controls
• Leading audit engagements and the efficient and timely completion of the annual group audit
• Production of all external reporting for presentation to board and shareholders including compliance with listing rules
• Significant involvement in creating annual report and investor presentations

About You

You will be a technically proficient accountant with Big 4 experience auditing public companies at Manager or Senior Manager level.  This would naturally appeal to those with an in-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), strong business partnering experience with excellent communication skills, and proven experience of presenting to stakeholders & leadership teams.
